Welcome to my website!

Many of my patients found many of their symptoms gone after my treatments. I hope their success will be yours, too!

Have you tried Acupuncture before?
If yes, hope you had great results.
If you didn't have good results, it might have been because you didn't meet a well trained Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist. So why not come and give it a try? Let me help you achieve an amazing outcome with this holistic therapy!

On this site, you will get to know more about Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and get some helpful information here.

Something you need to know before treatment

Not everyone responds to acupuncture the same way. For some people it can be the solution to a problem they have had for a long time, for others it may just be one small part in a long chain of treatments. The length of your course of treatment will depend on what you’re being treated for. If your condition requires more treatments or taking a treatment course, it is better not to interrupt it because the treatment outcome would diminish  and not be able to stabilize. The concept is very similar to taking antibiotics: When you are prescribed antibiotics to take for a specific period of time, i.e. three days or seven to 10 days, you need to follow the advice and take them at regular, specified time intervals.

A letter to new patients

Dear patient,

Please may I give you some gentle reminder as follows:
It will be useful to bring to your first session details of any drugs you are taking, and any of your test reports that are relevant to your current problem.
If possible, please do not wear make-up or use perfume on the day of your appointment.
Dos:
Please remember soft loose clothing is the best. and not just on the part that you may wish to be treated, as the acu-points are all over the body.
In your first visit, please inform me:
If you have ever experienced a fit, fainting or recurrent dizziness.
If you have a pacemaker or any other electrical or metal implants.
If you have a bleeding disorder.
If you have damaged heart valves or have any other particular risk of infection.
On the day of treatment:

1.    Do not drink any alcohol before and after treatment.

2.    Do not come with full or empty stomach which would affect the treatment outcome.
3.   If you feel especially drowsy after treatment, wait until you feel sufficiently alert before you drive/leave.

In your first consultation, Ariel may pay particular attention to your tongue and pulse. Practitioners of traditional acupuncture will use this is to assess your physical health and flow of energy. It’s important not to eat or drink any coloured drinks immediately before your appointment that may cause discolouration of your tongue (such as coffee).

Cancelling your appointment

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please do let me know by telephone/text/email at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise £10 will be charged.

Many thanks for reading this.

Warmest regards,

Ariel
